Otunba Sunday Dele Ajayi, Chairman,Ondo State Football Association, has congratulated the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick on his election into the FIFA Executive Council.
In a press statement made available to SUNSHINETRUTH in Akure, Otunba Ajayi said the feat is a good development for the nation’s football.
He said, “I, Otunba Sunday Dele Ajayi wish to join millions of Nigerians to congratulate my friend and the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick on the new feat achieved by being elected on the FIFA Council Seat.
“I must state that this is a very good achievement and a great feat for Nigerian football which will aid the development of football.
“I can say that Pinnick has the capability to handle the office and I am sure that his victory will open more ways for the development of the game in the country and Africa at large.
“On behalf of Ondo State Football Association, I will like to congratulate our president and my friend as he is elected into the FIFA council seat.
“This is a good omen for Nigerian Football family and lovers of the sport. I am certain this will project the game in the country to the outside world more.
“It is also good that you are returned elected as CAF’s Fifth Vice President. Congratulations!!,” the Ondo FA Chairman said.
