Why I engaged in Yahoo-yahoo business in Ondo —Mass comm Student

The Ondo state police command has arrested a mass Communications student of The Polytechnic, Ibadan who specialised in stealing money from bank account using stolen SIM cards.

The suspected hacker, Omisakin Samson, was arrested after he stole N44,000 from a victim’s bank account using a stolen SIM card.
Parading some suspects in Akure, the state Commissioner of police, Mr Bolaji Salami, said the police also apprehended a 30 year-old woman, Blessing Jimoh for allegedly Killing her mother, Ijeoma Odo over allegation of witchcraft.

Blessing who is a native Enugu state allegedly killed her mother after her pastor told her that her mother was a witch which inflicted her with madness.

Samson said he received 18 SIM cards from the armed robber but could only withdrew money from some of the cards.
They were paraded at the Ondo Police headquarters in Akure.
Samson claimed he studied Mass Communication at the Ibadan Polytechnic but couldn’t further his education because of poor funding.
He said he took to yahoo yahoo business to ends meet.
His words, “My mother has stroke and my father is no longer taking care of me. I started with Yahoo and I did it regularly. I studied computer operator and engineering where I learn about hacking. I used applications to run victims sim card. I used the SIM to withdraw the cash through POS or used it to buy cards.
“I collected 18 SIMs from them but many of them were not useful while some were useful. The one that brought me here was the one I lcollected N44,000 from. I took N4000 cash and used the rest to buy goods. I withdraw the cash to online account. In this case I used somebody account and it was tracked to us.
“When I see my victims now, I will beg them and tell them will not do it again. I feel offensive whe spending my victims money.”
The Ondo Commissioner said the suspects would be charged to court after investigations.
