Ondo Govt moves to reform Civil Service

…….. AS HOS SETS UP COMMITTEE ON CIVIL SERVICE RULES.

The Ondo State Head of Service, Pastor Adeniran Adeyemo, mni has set-up Committee to review the state Civil Service Rules which has been in use since 1999 with a view to actualizing excellent service delivery to the people of the state.

Pastor Adeyemo,who stated this while addressing Journalists in his office in Akure the state capital noted that the review of the rules is long overdue as it could no longer meet the dynamics of the modern day civil service.

The Head of Service opined that he would intensify and leverage on the State Service Improvement Programme (ODSIP) inaugurated by his immediate predecessor, Mr Dare Aragbaiye to ensure that Civil Servants give their best to deliver quality service to the people of the state.

He added that ODSIP would be mobilized to introduce the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) on training and payment of salaries of Public Servants to enhance efficiency in service delivery.

Pastor Adeyemo stressed that he would expand the capacity of Public Servants through quarterly training for higher productivity.
