Nigeria Universities Alumni postpones Conference

The Association of Nigeria Universities Alumni (ANUA) has postponed the proposed ANUA Workshop and Conference scheduled to hold from 7th to 11th April, 2021.

This is due to the forthcoming Ramadan fast.

Below is the full text of the press statement;

ANUA POSTPONES EVENT TO HONOUR MUSLIMS

Ladies and gentlemen,
ANUA members,

I am directed by the ANUA Chairman, Dr Stephen Olawale Fashakin to inform you that the proposed ANUA Workshop and Conference scheduled to hold from 7th to 11th April, 2021 has been postponed till after fasting period.

This is because the said date was fixed without considering the fasting period to fall on 12th April, 2021.

In view of the above, the University management has advised that the event should be postponed.

Going by the meeting held today between the Unilorin Alumni ExCo, LOC and the University management, the ANUA exco should meet to make arrangements for new date for the event.

We assure you that the University Management and the Alumni of University of Ilorin are ready to receive us in due course.

By this notice all arrangements are hereby put on hold till a new date is fixed. Inconveniences regretted.
