Easter: We can use love to end insecurity —Akure lawmaker Borokini


Member Representing Akure South Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Education, Science and Technology, Hon Simeon Toluwani Borokini has felicitated Christians in his Constituency and the state at large on the Occasion of this year’s Easter Celebration.

In his message, he admonished all irrespective of religious differences to allow love lead in their relationships and shun any message of hatred being initiated by individuals, groups or organisations.

He stressed that a lot is achievable in love, unity and sincerity of purpose especially and that all hands should be on deck to combat the spate of insecurity the country is experiencing presently.

As the Chairman, Ad-hoc Committee on Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAAP) Act, Borokini assured the House is on top gear in ensuring quick Passage of the Bill in no distant time as he used the medium in appreciating various contributions gathered from the concerned citizens during the recent Public Hearing Organised by the Committee to ensure transparency and equal participation of all in the processes of the Bill.

Reassuring his constituents of his unalloyed devotedness in ensuring effective representation, the Lawmaker pleads for continuous prayers and support from them.
