There is currently confusion among residents as a family of five from Ajowa Akoko northwest local government area of Ondo state who came home for Easter holiday break are now victims of kidnapping on their way back to Abuja yesterday sunday
SUNSHINETRUTH learnt that Mr Ibrahim Olusa, a native of Daja Ajowa and his wife and children were abducted under gun point by hoodlums between Ajowa Akoko and Ayere in kogi state taken all of them tocaptivity.
This has brought tension apprehension and anxiety in the residents of the town.
Family source revealed to the correspondent that the kidnappers have contacted the family demanding for 10million naira as ranson before they can be released.
A resident of Ajowa Akoko and the immediate past chairman of Ajowa Akoko community council mr Ajayi Bakare attributed the kidnapping and robberies on that road to the deplorable section belongs to kogi state.
Bakare appealed to government to rehabilitate the road so that free flow of vehicles will be made possible.
