…….. Akeredolu’s Investment Drive Receives Major Boost As Another Airline Joins Lagos-Akure Route
The Investment Drive of the Ondo State Governor,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, yesterday received a major boost as another airline is set to join the Lagos -Akure route.
Akeredolu had, at the inception of his administration, partnered with Air Peace to achieve his administration’s investment drive which will require influx of investors into the state.
But, a new airline, GREEN AFRICA has announced direct connections from the commercial hub of Lagos (LOS) into Akure (AKR) as its launch route network ahead of entry into service.
Other routes announced by the airline are; Ilorin (ILR), Abuja (ABV), Enugu (ENU), Owerri (QOW)and Port Harcourt (PHC).
Babawande Afolabi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Green Africa said “Starting with our launch route network, we are crafting a network plan that will afford more customers the opportunity to pursue their economic interest or simply spend more time with family and friends. Our three key product offerings – gSaver, gClassicTM and gFlexTMwill afford customers the value of choice and flexibility.”
Since he assumed office in 2017, Akeredolu has been recording laudable achievements in attracting investors into the state.
With the entry of Green Africa, with the existing Air peace and Overland airlines that also ply Lagos and Abuja routes respectively, the sunshine state can now boast of three airlines with daily operations.
