Three persons including an okada rider and two of his passengers have been crushed to death this morning along Akure-Idanre road in Ondo state.
SUNSHINETRUTH gathered that the accident was caused a result of over speeding on the part of the motorcyclist and a truck driver who over ran the victims.
An eyewitness said two of the victims were heading to Idanre from Akure.
It was learnt that the crash had caused unrest on the road, as some aggrieved okada riders and residents from Idanre have set the truck ablaze.
The Ondo Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, confirmed the incident .
The Public Relations Officer of the command , Abiola Fadumo, said the intervention of the policemen helped to calm the situation.
The spokesman of the state police command, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, said the matter had not been reported at the time of filing this report
