Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo
Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State and 2019 House of Representatives candidate of the APC for Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency, has told his supporters and friends that it is not yet time for them to start campaigning for him ahead of the 2023 general election.

In a Press statement obtained by SUNSHINETRUTH in Akure, Ojogo said “My Promotional Posters For Reps 2023 Pre-mature, Distracting.”

“It has come to my knowledge that some persons of goodwill have commenced a subtle campaign for me ahead the still-far House of Representatives election, come 2023.

“No doubt, these un-primed, voluntary initiatives deserve huge appreciations from me; and I do unapologetically, especially as such are seemingly spirit-lifting.

“Nonetheless, I consider same not only premature. They are avoidable distractions for multiple reasons. Aside the inaleinable fact that decisions to run for positions is a personal one, it comes only after series of processes.

“None of these has sufficed even as I lack capacity and competence to initiate any either in my own.

“Principally, I’m presently too pre-occupied with my primary responsibility as Commissioner for Information and Orientation under a Principal whose compassion and magnanimity towards me are too deep to comprehend.

“These uncommon gestures, it should be noted, must not be taken for granted, in any manner.

“I can only be a political tool in the hands of my Principal, the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN as may be directed by God.

“I, therefore, urge my friends, associates and acquaintances to exercise restrain and caution along the focused path as expressly betrayed. I humbly plead with those behind the subtle social media stunts to show understanding, please.

“With love, appreciation and regards from me,” said Ojogo.
