Gunmen demand N30m ransom for kidnapped Ondo PDP bigwig, one other

There was anxiety today in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State as unknown gunmen who kidnapped a prominent book seller, Nneka Erondu and his friend, a PDP chieftain in Arigidi Akoko, Femi Olu have demanded a thirty million naira ransom for their release; SUNSHINETRUTH can report.

The two residents of Ikare were said to have been kidnapped four days ago between Okene and Kabba in kogi state.

They were on their way to Kabba Town.

It was gathered that while the ugly development had caused panic among families of both abductees, members of the Igbo Community in Ikare Akoko are also said to be worried about the situation.

The abducted book seller, popularly called Erondu is described as one of the book sellers who have plied their trade for many years in Ikare Akoko town.
