In recognition of his contribution to the betterment of his constituency and Ondo state in general, the National Association of Political Science and Public Administration Students of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, AAUA, has singled out Honourable Festus Akingbaso ( FESSY WEST) for honour.
The association in a letter addressed at the Honourable stated that the honour of “Lex-Lactus Extrordinaire” is being concerned on Akingbaso in recognition of his place as a philanthropist and outstanding contributions to his constituency as a legislator.
The law maker who represents the people of Idanre in the Ondo State House of Assembly earlier this month celebrated his second year in office as a legislator on the platform of the Peoples Democracy Party, where he commissioned several projects he has executed within his constituency since his emergence as a legislator.
Indeed to whom much is given, much more is expected, this explains why Akingbaso keeps giving back to his community in terms of good representation and provision of amenities needed to make life better for the people of his constituency.
Reacting to the honour, Akingbaso thanks the student body for this recognition and promised to remain in the service of his people in Idanre and Ondo state at large, even if it requires seeking higher elective offices that will afford him an avenue to serve his people better and efficiently.
