Akure South NULGE Chairman SOJ bags Leadership Award

The Chairman of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Akure South Branch, Comrade Olusoji Oluwatuyi, has been honoured as the “OUTSTANDING ROLE MODEL IN LEADERSHIP” by Focus Magazine.

At the award ceremony held in Akure on Sunday July 18, 2021, the Publisher of Focus Magazine, Mr Ayodele Ologunola said Oluwatuyi popularly known as “S.O.J” was given the award to recognize his performance as a labour leader who had done very well for staff of Akure south local government.

Ologunola noted that the NULGE Chairman was also identified as a young, vibrant and outstanding leader who is a role model to many youths and workers.

While receiving the award, Comrade Olusoji Oluwatuyi who expressed appreciation to the media outfit for honouring him, described the award as a reward for quality leadership he has been rendering to his members over the years.

Oluwatuyi promised that the award would spur him to do more, adding that the honour had placed more positive burden on him to lead by example in all his endeavours.

The ceremony was attended by the Ondo state President of NULGE, Comrade Bola Taiwo; Ondo State Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Omokehinde Shado, friends, family members and some other labour leaders from NULGE.
