25th Remembrance of Mr Gabriel Bankole Eruosanyin: Children donate Classrooms to Govt’s Pry School, Ifon

Children and family of Late Mr Gabriel Bankole Eruosanyin (Omima Press) has constructed and donated an Ultra-modern block of classrooms to LA Primary school, Ifon in Ose local government area of Ondo state.

This is part of efforts to immortalise their late father and complement the state government’s investment on education sector.

The social responsibility project was donated to the community’s school to mark the 25th Remembrance of Late Mr Gabriel who died at the age of 56.

Mr Sanmi Bankole, one of the deceased children, said that the school structure came as a result of the children’s desire to appreciate God for their father and His blessing to the family members, noting that it was sad that their Daddy died at a relatively young age.

Mr Bankole opined that, “Our father was a man that believed so much in education and he had a lot of legacies in the educational sector of this area in Ose local government and all over, being a printer of so many years and he made sure he trained all his children.

“As a legacy for his memorial, we the children came together and said we must do something to support this legacy (education) and to build a memorial (classrooms) for him”
    

Mr Bankole further explained that being a person who was so passionate about education, the family decided to do something in the area of education, adding that it was sited at LA primary school, Ifon, because some of the children attended the school at various levels.

“The government of Ondo State, the local government education authority and Ifon community at large will be a beneficiary to the donation,” he said.

Also, Mr Samuel Bankole while advising the government and Community to do their best to maintain the structure, stressing that “we are in a society where people don’t want to care for Government’s property”.

He stated that it won’t be a bad idea if an individual can partner with the government to see a way of bringing an input into the education of our society.

Mr Bankole further disclosed that the classrooms were well-equipped with computers, printers, chairs and other furnitures.
