NOW THAT ALH. MUHAMMED BABANDEDE COMPTROLLER GENERAL OF IMMIGRATION IS EXITING IMMIGRATION SERVICE, IT IS TIME TO APPOINT A SOUTH WEST OFFICER OF YORUBA EXTRACTION TO HEAD THE ORGANISATION FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE IN 1960!
It is unbelievable but true that no Yoruba from South West of Nigeria has ever head the Nigerian Immigration Service. Now that it is time to appoint another Comptroller General of Immigration, it is equitable and would be in the interest of justice to appoint a Yoruba Officer as the 17th Comptroller General of Immigration in Nigeria!

1. No Yoruba or South West person has ever been appointed Comptroller General of Immigration Service in Independent Nigeria!
2 Only two South East Igbo Woman have been appointed Comptroller General of Immigration Service.
3. Only one person from South South (Delta State) was once appointed a Comptroller General of Immigration Service.
Based on the above unassailable and indisputable facts, it will only be reasonable, equitable and in compliance with Federal Character Principle to appoint a Yoruba Officer as the 17th Comptroller General of Immigration as MUHAMMED BABANDEDE takes a bow out ofthe office tomorrow the 13th day of September 2021.
