SOUTHWEST LEADERS CONGRATULATE NEWLY ELECTED NUJ NATIONAL OFFICERS, CHARGE THEM ON MEDIA INDUSTRY
The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists, B-Zone (Southwest) has charged the newly elected National Officers of the union to remain undeterred and resolute in discharging their duties and ensure that various challenges facing the media industry are tackled with all vigour.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by Chairmen and Secretaries from the zone, the Southwest NUJ leaders assure the new leadership of continuous unalloyed support during their tenure.
The Zone notes with delight that the second term National President had promised amendment to the NUJ Constitution to meet current realities.
The Zone is specifically happy to associate with the reelected President, Chief Chris Isiguzo and the newly elected officers of the zone, Comrade (Mrs) Ronke Samo and Alhaji Abdulrasaq Alege who emerged as B-Zone Vice President and Zonal Secretary respectively.
The Zone also congratulates the Deputy National President, Comrade Yahya Al-hassan; the National Treasurer, Comrade Dele Atunbi; the National Financial Secretary, Comrade Samuel Dada and the National Internal Auditor, Comrade Ladi Emmanuel.
The Zone which commends delegates from across the country that attended the 7th NUJ National Triennial Delegates’ Conference “UMUAHIA 2021”, admonishes all members of the union to come together and join hands with the new CWC members to take the union to a greater height.
