Wonder they say shall never end as Ondo state Police Command has apprehended a sixty-one year-old clergyman, Pastor Famakinwa Ajayi for allegedly raping and impregnating a sixteen year old girl (name withheld) at Ogbese town in Akure North Local Government area of the State.
SUNSHINETRUTH learnt that the Pastor who had deflowered the girl was said to have slept with her in open market.
Parading the suspect before journalists in Akure, spokesperson of the command, Funmilayo Odunlami said the suspect will be charged to court after the completion of the investigation.
She said, “Famakinwa Ajayi Aged 61 years who is a clergy man impregnated the sixteen year- old girl.
”The victim stated further that the suspect was the one who deflowered her in his house and had taken her to a market square at night and had carnal knowledge of her under the pretence of taking her for spiritual deliverance.
“The suspect confessed to have slept with her once in his living room.
She explained that “Oluwatosin, aged 16 years of Ayetoro Street, Ayede Ogbese, came to the station and reported that one Famakinwa Ajayi aged 61, who is a Clergyman man impregnated her.
“He will soon be charged to court for prosecution,” she stated.
