The Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals, (NUAHP), has congratulated the new Commissioner for Health, Dr Banji Awolowo Ajaka on his new appointment.
In a Press Statement, the NUAHP State Chairman, Comrade (Prince) Adedire Adeyinka said Ajaka’s appointment was a testimony of his outstanding records in the health sector.

Members of the Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals(NUAHP), that comprises of Medical Laboratory Scientists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Health Information Managers/Officers, Radiographers, etc, hereby rejoice with DR BANJI AWOLOWO AJAKA on his apt appointment as the Honourable Commissioner for Health of the Sunshine State.
For us in the Union, we believe his appointment may not be unconnected to his unprecedented antecedents in the past when he served at the HMB.
Therefore, we use this medium to appreciate Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), the people’s governor, for knocking this one out of the park; indeed, the peg and the hole are of the same dimension!
Dr Ajaka, you have been recognized for your achievements, and we do believe this will initiate another sense of commitment and dedication geared towards a better health for all in Ondo State. It is well deserved and we are thankful to God.
May God see you through in this new obligation of yours, Amen.
