Ondo EKSU Alumni Chairman Felicitates with Christians; Preaches Peaceful Coexistence at Christmas and Beyond.

The Executive Chairman, Ekiti State University Alumni Association, Ondo State Chapter, Chief Kemini Doubra has joined leaders across the country to felicitate with all Nigerians, especially Christian brothers and sisters of the Association, on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.

Chief Doubra, in a goodwill message signed by the Association’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Omoniyi Akinrogunde ‘Romeo’, thanked God on behalf of his members and the continue existence of the Country.

He however noted that the season should not only be a time to wine and dine, but a time to reflect on ‘the short but impactful’ life of Christ which was devoted to charity and selfless service to humanity.

“I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially our Christian brothers and sisters, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas. As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, there is the need for us to reflect and emulate the virtues of humility, godliness, peaceful coexistence, charity, honesty and service to others which were not only the cardinal focus of His teachings; but which were equally exhibited by the the Messiah”. Doubra said.

The Executive Chairman admonished Christians in the state and across the country to reach out in love and compassion to the needy, to remain patriotic and continue to live in peace with all Nigerians irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

This according to Doubra will no doubt propel tangible changes in the lives of our people, improve national security and economic prosperity for the Nation; especially as the country continues in its struggles to overcome the challenges of insecurity, insurgency and economic woes.

He appealed to Nigerians not to throw caution in the winds as they continue in the festive period by abiding by the safety protocols against the ravenous variants of the Covid 19 infection.

The Alumni Chairman further assured his members that his administration will continue to provide purposeful leadership, give priority to their welfare and continue to be guided by it’s ”TAC” mantra of Transparency, Accountability and Commitment.
