Akure Reps Bye-Election: NNPP picks Olorunsogo as Candidate

Comrade Joseph Oni Olorunsogo has emerged the candidate of the New Nigeria people’s Party (NNPP) in the forthcoming Akure South/North Federal Constituency Bye Election slated for February 26, 2022.

Announcing the result, the State Chairman of the party and chairman of the Electoral Committee, Pastor Olagookun Peter said Olorunsogo was picked through a consensus at the party’s primary held in Akure, Ondo State capital.

Olagookun while speaking about the the process monitored by the INEC, thanked God Almighty that the election was free and fair.

The NNPP Chairman however vowed that the party (the New Nigeria people’s party) would spring surprise and win the forthcoming Bye-election by God’s grace with Olorunsogo’s candidacy.

In his own remark, the party’s Candidate, Joseph Olorunsogo Oni appreciated the delegates for picking him as thier representative.

Olorunsogo promised to do more than what the previous administration had done, adding that he will be the voice of voiceless.

Some of the officials of the party present at the election included, Arogundade Emmanuel, Deputy state Secretary; Mrs Olayemi, Deputy state Women leader and INEC officials among others.
