…..says “I’ve made peace with our APC leaders, stop lying against me”
The embattled Chairman of Ifedore local government, Engr Alex Oladimeji, has advised his Vice, Mr Oluwasogo Ajikiola, to stop dragging him into media war, insisting that he has settled his difference with APC leaders in the state contrary to insinuation by Ajikiola.
Speaking in an interview, Oladimeji wondered why Ajikiola finds joy in lying against him, saying he will continue to keep his calm and be at peace with all.
Recall that the Ondo state House of Assembly in 2021 suspended Oladimeji over series of allegations leveled against him and directed the Vice Chairman Ajikiola, to act in his place.
Subsequently, Oladimeji, was reportedly invited by the Anti-Graft Special Fraud Unit, Alagbon, Lagos, to clear his name over involvement in alleged misappropriation of public funds among other offences.
The embattled Council Chairman, Oladimeji, noted that he never alleged anybody of writing a petition to the police against him, but he has left all those behind such allegations for God to for give them.
He said he had cleared himself of any wrongdoing, adding that there was a need for Ajikiola to exercise restraint in the interest of the local government which desires stable and quality leadership.
Oladimeji said contrary to the speculation from the Vice Chairman, had never abused or alleged the Ondo State APC Chairman, Engr Ade Adetimehin of being behind his ordeal.
According to the Ifedore Council Chairman, it is disgusting that Ajikiola wants to be instigating or causing confusion between me and Engr Adetimehin for his selfish interest; “I hold our leader Engr Adetimehin and other leaders in high esteem and i will never abuse them, nobody should lie against me again.”
