Late Chief Augustus Akenroye ‘Baba De-Law’ contributed Greatly to humanity —Ondo Anglican Priest

All wellmeaning souls have been reminded to take heed and ensure that they obey God’s commandments as directed in the Holy Scripture, even as all souls will return to God to account for their deeds on earth.

The Diocesan Bishop on the Coast of the Ebenezer Anglican Cathedral Ilutitun-Osooro, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Rt. Revd. Oluseyi Pirisola gave the warning in a Sermon tagged “Where Will All Spend Your Eternity” at the interment Service organised for Late Chief Augustus Epebinu Akenroye held at the Church Auditorium in Ilutitun.

Bishop Pirisola who pointed out that the man is majorly created to serve and glorify God’s works, stressing that, it is imperative for living beings to complement God’s efforts and accomplish His decisions for all men created.

Case studying the well-life spent by Chief Augustus Akenroye, the Anglican Priest described the late legal Icon as someone who had fulfilled his destiny, as he had lived an exemplary life with prowess, contributed his quota to the development of Ikaleland through his legal profession.

The Clergyman said the deceased had contributed greatly to humanity and would be missed by all around him.

Bishop Oluseyi Pirisola while warning politicians with sugarcoated mouth especially as general election draws nearer, he berated over 12 years power outage in Ikale land and some parts of Ondo South, saying government must do the needful ahead 2023.

Giving credence to their father’s great attributes, the eldest son, Dr Adegboyega Akenroye said Late Chief Augustus Epebinu Akenroye’s good deeds on earth could not be quantified with just words, adding that “Baba De Law” had positively impacted many lives without segregation.

Dr Adegboyega opined that his late father would be greatly missed by family members, his Ilutitun community, Ikaleland and his professional colleagues.

Late Chief (Barrister) Augustus Epebinu Akenroye passed away peacefully on December 20, 2021 in Akure, the Ondo State Capital at the age of 85 and survived by Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren are home and abroad.
