I HUMBLY BOW AND GIVE REGARDS TO ALL EXISTING PROTOCOLS.

Today I stand before this noble gathering, to speak to you on behalf of Prince Aderosoye Emanuel Fadola- a native of Ilaramokin in Ifedore LGA Of Ondo state. (A MHA Hopeful) in Ifedore Constituency

This type of event, no doubt is second to none, I have been to countries across Africa, Europe and the world at large and I have not found anything like it, it is a great innovation and I am sure it will put an end to many atrocities committed by unregistered motorcyclists in the state.

I want to also commend the Governor of the state- Arákùnrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Àkèrédolu for his giant strides which is evidently clear not only in the transport sector, but also in security and other aspects of the economy.

Looking at the transport sector, motorcyclists popularly known as Okada riders now carry out their businesses with ease, gone are the days when multiple tickets were the order of the day. At the moment, with only one ticket of N150 a day; an Okada rider is good to go.

Not only are motorcyclists the beneficiaries of this single ticket per day, cab drivers also enjoy this unique and rare privilege. This is just to mention but a few of Arakunrin’s notable achievements in the sector as time will not permit us to highlight more.

Furthermore, to the SA to Mr Governor Barr Tóbi Ogunleye ESQ whose tremendous landmark has remained unequivocally the best in the history of Ondo state; it is my prayer that God will continue to uphold you and enable you to do more for the betterment of the state. Your decision to consider Ifedore LGA in this training is remarkable, we are highly appreciative of this kind gesture; thank you a bunch.

This training will no doubt do the following:

  1. Reduce Crime in our society, we have heard of the heinous crimes been perpetrated by some unscrupulous entities in the trade. And now with this training, an end will definitely come to this social vices as these evil ones will be easily identified and necessary punishments melted to them to serve as deterrent to others.
  2. It will reduce the number of crashes and acccident on our roads, with all the training we have witnessed here; our riders will now be more conscious of the fact that 75% of accidents on our road through bikes or vehicles are caused by human errors. Now, they are fully aware of the consequences of over speeding, disobeying traffic rules, reckless driving and drinking while driving.

In addition, they will also not want to leave their machines unattended to so as to avoid engine failure that may lead to crashes or accident.

In conclusion, I will like to appeal to the motorcyclists here present today to raise alarms when they see strange faces or unregistered members working in their environments or communities. Please report them to the appropriate authorities as the duty of securing our environments, protecting our jobs, our people, our loved ones and ourselves is our collective responsibility.

I will not end this goodwill message without encouraging the SA to Mr Governor on transport Tóbi Ogunleye esq, please keep doing more to get rid of the wolves among the sheep in our okada Riders.

I sincerely appreciate this gesture and strongly state that we are proud to relate and collaborate with you on a project like this.
