Ondo NUJ: Online Media Professionals (OMP) Congratulates Leke Adegbite
The Online Media Professionals (OMP) in Ondo State congratulates the newly sworn-in Chairman of the Nigerian Union Of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, Mr Leke Adegbite.
OMP in a statement issued on Friday by the Secretary of the Association, Temitope Adedeji and signed by the Chairman, Hakeem Adebumiti, wishes the new executive a successful stay in office.
The Association, however, urges the new executive member to be up and doing in discharging their duties as leaders of the pen profession in the State.
The Online Association prays for wisdom and strength from God for the new leadership, in order to paddle the canoe of the union to an enviable end.
OMP seizes the opportunity of the occasion to congratulate other members of the executive that were sworn-in alongside Mr Adegbite.
They are Hakeem Gbadamosi of the Nigerian Tribune, who is the Vice Chairman; Ngozi Aduloju, who is the Assistant Secretary; Fatima Muraina of the Hope Newspaper, who is the Treasurer, and Lawani Arinmola, who is the Financial Secretary.
CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
On behalf of the management and staff of TRACE News Magazine, I want to congratulate the newly elected members of the State Working Committee of the Ondo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
I commend the efforts of the members of the union and the electoral committee in heralding a new leadership for the union despite a few challenges.
There is no perfect leadership but I am convinced that with Leke Adegbite, who comes with a bag of leadership experience and professional expertise, as Chairman, the Ondo State Council of the NUJ will march towards the right direction for the benefit of all members.
I want to specially congratulate our former Editor and member of our Chapel, Ngozi Aduloju, on her inauguration as Assistant Secretary of the Council.
With this new leadership, it is time for the union to heal the remnants of past wounds, embrace fairness in treating members and help in re-energising and rebranding the journalism profession.
I have no doubt in the qualities and capacities of the newly inaugurated SWC members to deliver a vibrant and united NUJ that protects the individual and collective interests of members.
I wish you a successful tenure of office. Congratulations.

AJIPE CONGRATULATES NEW ONDO NUJ EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
Leading Ondo North Senatorial aspirant, Chief Alex Ajipe has congratulated the newly elected executive members of NUJ Ondo state chapter as they take over the mantle of leadership.
Ajipe described the feat as well deserved and urged them to live up to expectations of members of the union and by extension Ondo state people.
He is optimistic the new NUJ executive team led by Prince Leke Adegbite will excel in their new task.
The Senatorial hopeful however prayed for wisdom and God’s protection for the team as they lead the noble professionals in Ondo State.

This is to congratulate one of us and our former chapel chairman, Mr Adeleke Adegbite who has been sworn as the new chairman of our great union, Nigeria Union Of Journalists(NUJ) Ondo state chapter.
This development marks a new achievement for our chapel and it indeed historic.
We want to be believe that the professionalism and dedication we are known for will be more evident during your tenure.
We urge you to see all chapels as one, pursue the real ethics of the profession and vigorously work out plans that would standardize the union against quackery, improved welfare for members as well as constant training for members of our union.
Lastly, as we pray God to grant you and your executive members the needed wisdom in this new tenure, we also urge you to close all ranks for progress.

ONDO NUJ ELECTION: INFORMATION CHAPEL CONGRATULATES PRINCE ADEGBITE, OTHER EXECUTIVES.
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Ministry of Information and Orientation Chapel has congratulated Prince Leke Adegbite on his successful swearing-in as the Chairman of the union in the State.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chapel’s Chairman, Comrade Ayo Falana and the Secretary, Comrade Augustine Adeoye, the chapel described the victory of Prince Leke Adegbite as a testimony to his popularity and acceptability by members of the union.
They described him as a great unionist who has the charisma to move the union forward.
While wishing him a successful tenure, the chapel admonished him to be magnanimous in victory and run a union that seek to unite all by extending hands of fellowship to all members itrespe tive of where they stood before the election.
The chapel also felicitated other executive members of the union that were sworn in urging them to work together for a greater NUJ Ondo state council
Other Executive members that were sworn-in were Hakeem Gbadamosi as the Vice Chairman; Ngozi Aduloju, Assistant Secretary; Fatima Muraina Treasurer; and Lawani Arinmola as the Financial Secretary.
Correspondents’ Chapel Congratulates Ondo NUJ New Executive Members
The Correspondents’ Chapel wishes to congratulate the newly elected members of the State Working Committee of the Ondo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) now led by Prince ‘Leke Adegbite as the Chairman.
We specifically felicitate with one of us; a great leader in the Chapel, Mr. Hakeem Gbadamosi of Nigerian Tribune Newspaper, who alongside Prince Adegbite, was returned, as the Vice-Chairman of the Union.
Gbadamosi has been a pillar of support to the chapel with his doggedness and experience, we are much convinced that he would team up with the new executive members in taking the union to an enviable height.
More importantly, we salute the courage of the members of NUJECO who stood firmly, without interference in exercising their duties following the constitution of the union thereby bringing a peaceful transition.
Though you would agree there is no victory no vanquished in the process that took the new exco to office, we beseech them to extend hands of fellowship to every member in ensuring that peace and unity are sustained in our dear union.
As members of the Correspondents, we believe strongly that the emergence of these new leaders at the helms of affairs of our union is the beginning of fresh ideas that would usher in development, growth, and progress for members of the Pen Profession in Ondo State.
