Ondo Lawmaker Omole condemns attack on ‘Adegbodu Twins’ in Akoko

ONDO LAWMAKER AKOGUN OMOLE CONDEMNS ATTACK ON ADEGBODU TWINS AT OKA-AKOKO,WARNS PERPETRATORS OF VIOLENCE TO DESIST.

Sponsors and perpetrators of gangsterism and violence have been warned to desist or face the full wrath of the law.

The lawmaker representing Akoko Southwest Constituency 1 at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Honourable Akogun Olugbenga Omole gave the warning via a press release personally signed by him following an attack by hoodlums on the Adegbolu twins at Oka Akoko.

The Adegbolu Twins treated guests to a heartwarming entertainment at a reception Party held at African Church Grammar School Playing Field Oka Akoko on Friday 22nd of April,2022 on occasion of the burial of a former Chairman of Akoko South West Local Government, Late Pa Michael Adefemi Arise.

Akogun Omole who condemned the attack on the Adegbolu Twins warned the perpetrators and their sponsors saying the long arm of the law will soon catch up with them.

The lawmaker who reiterated that the Oka people are known for their hospitable character maintained that anyone irrespective of his or her personality who attempts to import gangsterism into the ancient city will be dealt with in line with the law.

“Perpetrators of hooliganism will be smoked out and dealth with accordingly,” Omole said.

This particular incident will be the last because the people involved are well known and they have been warned several times but with this incident they have taken their luck too far and we will not fold our arms and allow a few miscreants to tarnish the image of our Town.

The lawmaker called on law enforcement agents to swing into action and go after those responsible for the attack on the Adegbolu Twins.

Akogun stated that he is ready at all time to be of assistance to the law enforcement agencies.

I have been a victim of these hoodlums who always collaborated with miscreants from neighboring town to unleash attack on Musicians that were engaged to entertain guests at social functions.
Enough is enough!

I’m using this opportunity to assure visitors intending to come to Oka not to exercise any fear as all security agencies are on their toe to make sure peace reign supreme in the Town.
