Queen Naomi visits Sckyé Hospital, Akure, puts smiles on face of Triplets’ mother

It was a day of joy for a mother of triplets and other nursing mothers when Queen Naomi Silekunola visited Sckyé Hospital Ltd in Akure yesterday and donated gift items to newly delivered mothers, including a woman delivered of a set of triplets

The triplets were delivered by caesarean section a week ago for free in the hospital.

Queen Naomi who was accompanied by her mother, thanked the management of the hospital for rendering free antenatal services to pregnant women since 2004, including free blood and urine tests, free drugs, free ultrasound scan, free vaginal delivery and free Caesarean sections for higher order multiple gestation which extends to free baby incubation services, free baby food and free triplet colts.

The Queen who is the DG of Women In Need of Guidance and Support (WINGS), promised to continue rendering support for the triplets, as their mother is not currently employed, while the husband is a tricycle rider

She appealed to the government, well meaning individuals and NGOs to come to the aid of the less privileged in their communities as to make the world a better place

Responding, Dr Thomas-Wilson Ikubese the Medical Director of Sckyé Hospitals Ltd appreciated the Queen for her act of perpetual benevolence to women and children, being her second visit to the hospital.
