Akure South MHA: Ayodeji Adewole ‘Major Dee’ withdraws from race

PRESS RELEASE

NEED TO RESPECT OUR LEADER, ARAKUNRIN OLUWAROTIMI AND PARTY SUPREMACY: MY WITHDRAWAL FROM MHA RACE

I, Hon Ayodeji Steve Adewole, popularly known as “MAJOR DEE”, wish to notify our members and leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure South Constituency-II that in view of intervention and consultations, I will be withdrawing from the House of Assembly race in the interest of our party.

Like you all know that we have invested a lot to showcase our competence and capability to give our people quality representation at the Ondo State House of Assembly as from 2023, but I must respect our leaders and party supremacy and opt out of the contest.

While thanking Mr Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his Wife, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu; the State APC Chairman, Engr Ade Adetimehin; Mrs Bunmi Ademosu; Babajide Akeredolu; Ayo Wisdom; Hon Dele Ologun; Prince Olu Adegboro; Chief Akerele Fasoranti; Elder Kekereowo Sunday, Akure South APC Chairman and all my leaders, I hereby appeal to all my supporters and indeed all our party’s members should rally round the party’s choice (Hon Abitogun) who has contributed and sacrificed a lot to improve our party’s fortunes in Akureland and beyond.

While I understand that it’s only God who gives power, I see no reason why we should go against my leaders and party’s decision.

I want to pledge my one hundred percent (100%) financial support commitment to ensuring APC emerges victorious during the 2023 general election.

E-Signed:
Hon Ayodeji Steve Adewole,
CEO, Major Dee Motors and Aspirant for Akure South Constituency-II
10th May, 2022.
