The recently House of Assembly Primary Election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the Constituency 1 of the Akoko South West Local Government area of Ondo State has resulted to a vehement outcry; according to one of the leading Aspirants in the exercise, Hon David Ajobiewe.
There was a case of impersonation and conspiracy during the exercise. The election was conducted by unlawful personalities. Lot of irregularities and violation of the party constitution.
The Election was filled with Electoral Malpractices and conducted not in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2022 and the Party Constitution.
Many of the delegates are still serving under the state government. Some of the real delegates recognized by the National Secretariat of the party was disenfranchised at the poll because they discovered they are not voting for their preferences aspirant.
AJOBIEWE revealed that there was crises and chaos at the election venue which resulted to gun shots from no where and that during the pendency of the scary/shuddering event, the election was counted in a kangaroo means.
It is pertinent to note that the House of Assembly Primary Election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in OKA AKOKO is void and same is expected to be nullified as same contravenes the provisions of section 84 of the Electoral Act, 2022.
He humbly cleared the air that he vehemently frown at overlooking all the irregularities and he believes by God grace he shall win the mandate.
