The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Akure South/Akure North federal constituency, Hon Derin Adesida has appreciated those who made his victory happened during the primary.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT, MY QUEST TO REPRESENT OUR PEOPLE IS IN THE INTEREST OF ALL
Our dear party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday, May 27, 2022, conducted its House of Representatives primary elections throughout the country.
I participated in the primaries and was favoured by the Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency delegates who gave me the party’s ticket to vie for the seat of the constituency in the National Assembly in the 2023 general elections.
I must note that the contest for the nomination of our party was among brothers whose motivation is purely their sense of service to the federal constituency.
It is my sincere belief that the quest of each of us to represent our people is not about ourselves. Rather, it is about our people. Therefore, there is no victor or vanquished as far as the outcome of the contest is concerned.
I would like to appreciate the fatherly and leadership role of our amiable governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN. Mr. Governor, may God keep you for us and enrich you with more wisdom to navigate the ship of the state and that of the party.
I thank all the leaders of our party in the state and the federal constituency for ensuring a smooth conduct of the shadow election.
I must also thank our delegates for giving me the flag of the party and my brother-co-contestants for their maturity and passion for the development of our federal constituency.
My appreciation also goes to all members of our party in both Akure North and Akure South. May all of us realise our aspirations in the party in Jesus name.
I represented our people in the Sixth National Assembly and did my best. The records are still there, speaking loud for my representation.
I seek support from all of you so that we can fly the flag of our party to victory in the 2023 general elections. I promise that I will not lower my guard if I return to the Green Chamber of the National Assembly. I promise to do more and better than before.
