OUR CONDOLENCES
The Forum of Local Government Secretaries of Ondo State is, with deep sense of empathy, commiserating with the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN; and the entire people of Owo Kingdom over the gory incident of gruesome killing of worshipers at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owaluwa, Owo, on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
We are grievous by the dastardly act of the assailants. This is a trying time for not just the people of Owo Kingdom, but also the entire Ondo State.
It is not enough to condemn this cannibalistic and senseless wastage of human lives. What is major at this moment is for all hands to be on deck to bring the perpetrators to book, while all necessary machinery are deployed to ensure that such heartbreaking occurrence does not happen in any part of our Sunshine State again.
We, sincerely, condole with the individuals that lost their families and loved ones to the attack. We pray God to fortify them with strength and grace to bear the irreparable loss.
