As part of his commitment to quality representation and good governance, the lawmaker representing Ileoluji/Oke-Igbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin has commissioned some of the Educational Advancement Projects he facilitated to the Federal Constituency.
The Primary School projects which was commissioned on Wednesday are located in Oke-Igbo and Otu Costain Communities.
The projects are 12 blocks of Classroom with 20 (W/C) toilet facility rooms and furniture materials at St. Andrews Anglican Primary School Oke-Igbo and Army Children Primary School Otu Costain, Odigbo LGA.
During the exercise, Hon. Akinfolarin Mayowa call on Community leaders and Parent Teachers Association to take ownership of the projects and ensure they are maintained for optimum utilization.
Earlier, High Chief Doyin Olatunji, Lowa of Oke-Igbo Kingdom commended Hon. Akinfolarin for his giant strides in Ileoluji Oke-Igbo Odigbo Federal Constituency and Oke-Igbo Kingdom in particular.
In his words “I want to thank you on behalf of our royal father, Oluoke of Oke-Igbo Oba Lawrence Oluwole Babajide for your numerous contributions in this Federal Constituency and Oke-Igbo Kingdom in particular. We have seen solar street light, market stalls and boreholes you facilitated to Oke-Igbo. We are thankful to God that we are witnessing another giant stride today. I pray God will continue to make ways for you.”
Also, the Olotu of Otu Costain in Odigbo LGA, HRH Akinboni Oluwole eulogised Akinfolarin for not reneging on his promises to the people. “Despite the setback in the last primaries of your party, you do not renege on your promises to always reach out to the people and facilitate quality projects to our community. This is laudable.”
Other dignitaries at the events include Chief Isreal Adewole, the Arode of Oke-Igbo, Chief Babatunde Odejobi Apesin of Oke-Igbo,
Hon Chief Mrs. Taye Adeoyin, Balogun Iyalode of Oke-Igbo,
Chief Lawrence Oloyede, Seriki of Okeigbo kingdom.
Others include Elder S. O Ojetayo, APC Vice Chairman ileoluji/Oke-Igbo LGA, Alhaji Fatai Olawale, APC Chairman Odigbo LGA, Hon. Fasogbon Akinyele among others.
