ONDO NUJ ELECTS NEW SECRETARY
Comrade Meshack Olaoluwa of the State Information Chapel, has emerged the new Ondo State Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
Olaoluwa was elected unopposed during the Bye-election of the Union held on Thursday June 30, 2022 at the Press Centre, Akure.
Nobody was occupying the position of the NUJ State Secretary since new leadership under the State Chairman, Comrade Leke Adegbite took over on 8th April, 2022.
Meshack who is the immediate past Chairman of State Information Chapel, started his journalism career at Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) almost three decades ago.
Swearing-in the new Secretary, the State NUJ Chairman, Leke Adegbite charged him to be a team player both with other Exco members and entire journalists in the state.
Responding, Meshack Olaoluwa promised to be loyal, and justify the confidence reposed in him by NUJ members in the state.

NUJ INFORMATION CHAPEL CONGRATULATES FORMER CHAIRMAN ON ELECTION AS STATE COUNCIL SECRETARY.
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Information Chapel, hereby felicitates with one of us and immediate past Chairman of our great Chapel, Comrade Meshack Olaoluwa as he was returned elected and sworn-in as the Secretary of NUJ, Ondo Council.
We boldly admit that our joy, as a chapel, knows no bound at this development and also for the overwhelming support his candidacy received not only from the chapel but from all other chapels that made up the council. This, undoubtedly, has furthered entrenched the fundamental principle of love and unity that all members of this great union has always creaved over time.
We further salute the courage and the leadership of the council, being led by Comrade Leke Adegbite who has demonstrated that unionism is for the benefits of all and sundry. And also importantly using the instrumentality of union to bring unprecedented development to the Press Centre in recent time.
All the various recorded feats including the unity of purpose and cooperation are assurances that our Union in no time will become a proud haven for all members.
Once again, congratulations to our secretary and long live Ondo NUJ council.
