No fewer than 77 people including children were rescued on Friday from an underground apartment at a church in Ondo town, Ondo State by the Nigeria Police
SUNSHINETRUTH gathered that the victims include 23 children and 52 adults making a total of 77 people, said to be abducted and kept in the underground cells in the Whole Bible Believer Church in the city.

Re: Troubling incidence of Human hostages in Valentino Church.
My attention has been drawn to the recent discovery of human hostages consisting majorly kids and teens,in a facility labeled as a church situated at Valentino area of Ondo city,on Friday July 1st,2022.
The discovery is not only shocking but worrisome,however we have absolute confidence in the capacity of the security agencies to conduct viable investigations and unravel the mystery surrounding it,in order to bring the perpetrators and their collaborators to book.
I urge all residents of the constituency and indeed the local government to continue going about their daily activities without fear,and to report any suspicious observation within their environment to the nearest Police station or Amotekun office.
Eternal vigilance remains the price of liberty.

COALITION OF NIGERIA YOUTH ON SECURITY AND SAFETY AFFAIRS (CONYSSA), ONDO STATE CHAPTER
ON THE VICTIMS IN THE DUNGEON AT THE BELIEVER CHURCH, AKA “THE ONDO CHURCH”, ONDO TOWN
The chapter wishes to thank the Nigeria police on its swift efforts following tip off.
While our team continues to monitor the order of events, it is important as partners in progresa of a better and more secured society to give a clear thoughts to youths, parents and endless miracle searchers.
It is also important for the interim without prejudice to the ongoing investigation call on christians and religious worshippers to seek the holy book as a guide at all times.
Our interactions with many former members of the church as further affirmed this call at this perilous times.
We can state authoritatively, that subject to other metaphysical elements, Ondo church kidnapped case according to our investigation is a religious brainwash, and elements of dogmatic followership which negates thus the bible principle to “test all spirits” to affirm if it is of God.
The pastors overseeing the church, following the loopholes of its members turned the bible upside down, in such a way that misleading the congregation about second coming of Jesus Christ became inevitable.
The Bible has affirmed without mincing words that, “Nobody knows when He would come”… This alone should be sufficient for any discerning chrostian. “Mathew 24:35-37
35.“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Emphatically in verse 36, “But no one knows the day nor the hour”. No! Not even the angels in heaven know.
37 “When the Son of Man comes, it will be the same as when Noah lived”.
We therefore admonish all Christians to beware and vigilant to avoid these preventable crimes.
We will continue to provide the Ondo state police headquarters all necessary support to get to the root of this matter.
CONYSSA seeks this opportunity to state that religion irrespective of which we practise is suppose to make life better.
We strongly advise that the youths must learn from this religious maneuvering and blackmails supposed “Shepherds” and embrace a deeper sense of understanding the scripture. A personal relationship with the creator is invaluable.
May the God be with all faithful and not ambassadors/prophets of heresy. The full wrath of the law must be melted on the pastors and all thier acomplices to serve as deterrent to many others in this path.
In conclusion, it is imperative to emphasize the Bible, to all Christians were it stated, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. John 8:32.
The truth is to have this individuals prosecuted and all available evidences brought forward. The public must cooperate with the police is this regards.
