OWA-ALE OF IKARE CONGRATULATES NEW ONDO HoS PASTOR OGUNDELE, LAUDS GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU
The Owa-Ale of Ikare Akoko, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Adegbite-Adedoyin II, has Congratulated Pastor Kayode Olaniyi Ogundele on his appointment as the Head of the Ondo State Public Service.
In a Press Statement issued from his Palace in Ikare, the Royal Father also expresses sincere appreciation of Ikare Sons and Daughters to Mr Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for counting one of them worthy for such huge appointment.
Owa-Ale points out that Ikare Community will not forget this gesture of appointing an Ikare Son as the Head of Service, first of such from the ancient town since the creation of Ondo State in 1976.
Oba Adegbite-Adedoyin, said the love of Governor Akeredolu for the people of Ikare and entire Akoko will remain indelible and unforgettable, considering the giant infrastructural strides executed and still going on in the town.
The Monarch who is also the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikare Akoko Branch, expresses confidence that with Pastor Kayode Ogundele’s rich experience in the State Public Service and his track records of years of dedication and efficiency, he will not disappoint the the good people of Ondo State especially the state workforce.
Owa-Ale equally charges the new Head of Service to bring innovations to the state public service that will further uplift the living standard and outputs of the workers.
Oba Adegbite-Adedoyin urges the state workers to give the new Head of Service full support to deliver on his mandates, and prays Almighty God to grant Pastor Kayode Ogundele necessary strength and wisdom to that will make him succeed in the new office.
His appointment follows the statutory retirement of the incumbent Head of Service, Pastor John Adeyemo, mni who will be bowing out of the Service on August 2, 2022.
Until his appointment, Ogundele was the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and Special Services Department of the Governor’s office. He joined the State Public Service as an Administrative Officer in 1994.
Ogundele’s appointment, therefore, takes effect from August 3, 2022.
