The Ondo State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi (WEST) has honoured the invitation of the Alumni Association of RUGIPO for the newly purchased Alumni Utility Bus, renovation of the school gate, and flag off for a hostel renovation in the school.
The majority leader, who happens to be an alumnus of the noble institution, stated that it was an honour to witness the event.
While the Alumni Association had agreed to oversee the project in the school, it was essential to generate funds, and the majority leader was called upon. Despite his busy schedule, Honourable Ogunmolasuyi did not forget his educational root as he made it a priority to grace the event.
It was indeed an honour for him to be there because Rufus Giwa Polytechnic remains an integral part of his life journey due to the standard of education he received during his studentship days.
The ODHA Majority Leader flagged off the renovation project and donated the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira for work to begin immediately. Also, he promised to make further contributions in the nearest future and charge those responsible to ensure work is done swiftly.
The Alumni Association thanked the majority leader for his generosity and willingness to answer whenever called upon. RUGIPO Rector also stated his re-election bid will be a success for the association and Owo Constituency 1 at large. He concluded by saying his good deeds would speak for him come 2023.
