A notorious political thug and gang leader Babatunde Adeoye (aka Para) has been arrested by the state police command for allegedly shooting sporadically into the air, injuring four persons at a Pharmaceutical shop in Idanre local government area of Ondo State.
Para in the process allegedly robbed the owner of the Chemist shop by snatching his bag containing a large sum of money.
Parading the suspect, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Oyeyemi Oyediran said “On the 16th August, 2022, a complainant reported that a group of boys numbering about five (5) led by one ‘Para’ shot sporadically into the air and robbed him of his bag containing a large sum of money (Amount unknown).
“The Bullet hits Sakari Yakubu ‘m’ at the back, Basiru Idris ‘m’ on his hand and Akinbadewa Omolayo ‘f’ on his leg.
“The gang leader Babatunde Adeoye (AKA Para) has been arrested. Effort is on to apprehend other members of the gang.
However in an interview with SUNSHINETRUTH, the Suspect begged that he does not want to go to prisons because of minor daughter and pregnant wife, adding that they would suffer if he is convicted.
He denied that he is not an armed robber.
