The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor Williams Folorunso Kumuyi today arrived Ondo State ahead of a global crusade with the theme “TRIUMPHANT POWER”, scheduled to commence tomorrow Thursday.
Pastor Kumuyi, while paying a visit to the Governor of Ondo state in his office, described Governor Akeredolu as a courageous man who does things with wisdom.
The Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, while receiving Pastor Kumuyi at the cocoa conference hall, in Akure, noted that it’s a great privilege to have him in the state. He also commended him for his drive for the work of God.
Akeredolu stressed that Pastor Kumuyi has brought good tidings to the state and nothing can hide the light of God. He also promised to be in attendance at the crusade with his cabinet members.
Pastor Kumuyi also paid homage to the Osemawe of Ondo kingdom, Oba Dr Adesinbo Ademefun Kiladejo in his palace, where he noted that the global crusade is for everyone. He urged the people of the kingdom to be a shinning light as God has come.
He further stated that choosing Ondo for the venue of the crusade is in God’s hands as he controls everything that happens.
The Clergyman also said that as for 2023 general election, if there will be election or not, God is in control of everything, as nothing happens without His knowledge and whatever He says, nobody can stand in His way.
“It was God that led us into ondo city. That was God’s choice at this time. He said it is ondo city for the GCK, that is Global Crusade for Kumuyi and we are following His leading.
“And as to next year, 2023, about the election.
“Everything is in the hand of God. I want to tell you, no pin drops anywhere in the world without God’s knowledge and nobody goes ahead without God’s control. He controls everything that happens in the world.
“Will there be election, will there not be election ? Who will come out as the President of our country and who will come out of the governor of each of the states is known unto God.
“He answers to the prayers of conscientious People in our land. What he wants will come true.
“When a lion is coming in the way, no rat stands in its ways and says you will not pass. When the almighty God says this is what it is, for Nigeria in particular, in 2023 in particular, no elephant of a man can stand in his way. God’s will will be done and we will all rejoice that all wise God has done what we are praying from Him.”
The Osamawe, in his response, described pastor Kumuyi as an international Evangelist, stressing that Ondo kingdom is very Godly and will always embrace christianity.
Oba Kiladejo also noted that the crusade came at an appropriate time, believing that there will be numerous blessings and miracles and also, divine intervention will take place in Nigeria.
KUMUYI LAUDS GOV AKEREDOLU’S COURAGE, SAYS GOD’S GRACE IS UPON HIM
The Founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has lauded the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for exhibiting courage and resilience even in difficult times.
Pastor Kumuyi noted that God has given the Governor wisdom and the fortitude to remain calm but courageous in the midst of the happenings in the country.
The General Superintendent spoke on Wednesday during a courtesy visit to the Governor in Akure, the State Capital.
He said: “I want to identify with the State and the Governor and I want to praise the Lord for the wisdom, resilience and for the courage, fortitude that the Lord has given to our Governor in the midst of all the things happening. We are happy to see him to be cool headed yet being courageous as the Governor of the State and all thanks to God that he is on top of the situation.
“And we know with the help of God, the Lord will see him through. The desire of Ondo State and the plan of God for bringing him to lead and to rule at this time I believe when he finished, we will all look back and say, God was with our man and God will give him all the wisdom, resources needed to make sure that all his goals in the manifesto that he had in mind will be fulfilled and I pray God will give surplus and will go beyond even what he expected.
“So, from tomorrow, Thursday to Tuesday 5pm every evening, we will be having crusade. The demostration of the power of God doing the incredible and things we did not expect; the Lord has rescued life and change the life of younger and older people, reunited family, the people that have incurable diseases, the Lord has healed them.
And as we are having the program in Ondo town, we will be transmitting to more than 150 countries in the world. I want to respectfully invite the Governor and the cabinet to be there at the crusade and we will be glad to have you.” Pastor Kumuyi said.
Governor Akeredolu commended the Pastor for his passion for preaching the gospel, adding that his visit to the state would usher in good tidings.
