~Says Elevation ‘ll attract physical development
A former Commissioner of Spe ial duties, Culture and Tourism in Ondo State, Hon. Femi Adekanmbi has congratulated the Onipele of Ipele (HRH) Oba Segun Aganun, Ojomo- Luda of Ijebu Owo, (HRM) Oba Kofoworola Olatubosun Oladoyinbo, Elemure of Emure (HRM) Oba Simeon Adedubaje Adeyefa on the elevation of their stool to first class status by the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
In a message personally signed by him, he described the elevation of the Obas as well deserved.
” I believe your elevation to first class status by the state government will speed up the physical and socio-economic development in your domain. Let us all unite and join forces with the Olowo of Owo ( HRM) Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III in maintaining peace and attract meaningful projects to our Kingdom”, Adekanmbi said.
‘He further added that he has a strong belief that it is only under a peaceful atmosphere that development, in all ramifications, can thrive. We should live as one indivisible entity”. He appeal to them to use their elevation to bring peace, love and unity to all the traditional institutions in Owo Kingdom, they should not allow this to divide us rather see it as an opportunity to unity us for rapid development of Owo Kingdom. He further caution the chiefs that surrounds all our Obas to always offer good advise to the Kabiyesis that will bring peace, love and unity to our Communities. We have come a long way as a united Owo Kingdom with rich cultural background and warm hospitality.
He further appeal to all the Obas to see our unique festivals in all the communities as a way of bringing all of us together, festivals in Emure, Ijebu, Ipele, Upenmem, Isuada, Uso, Idansen, Iyere should be festival for all, this will build confidence peace and love among us.
Honourable Adekanmbi prayed to God Almighty to grant the newly elevated Kings and indeed all other Obas under the leadership of Olowo of Owo long life, prosperity and divine wisdom.
