No fewer than 20 members inclusive of market men and women yesterday benefited from disbursement of N10million loan by Yuval Cooperative C.M.S Ltd, a micro finance cooperative outfit set up by Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole to help the less privileged across Ondo State.
At the event held in MyChoice office complex in Akure, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Yuval Cooperative C.M.S Ltd, Hon. Omowunmi said the initiative was conceptualized to help provide funding to struggling business initiatives.
The Akure Princess who was ably represented at the event by Pastor Mrs. Mosunmola Kayode expressed high hopes that the disbursement of the funds will go a long way in cushioning harsh economic realities faced by many businesses across the state.
While enjoining beneficiaries to make the most use of the funds and also refund as at when due, Hon. Omowunmi said timely refund will afford others the opportunity to also benefit.
Also speaking on the criteria to benefit, the Managing Director of the cooperative outfit, Mr. Sylvester Aboluwoye said members stand a chance to get three times their contributions in three months just as he also used the opportunity to thank Hon. Ohwovoriole for deeming it fit to bring smiles and succour to many ailing businesses.
He also charged beneficiaries to pay up their loans as at when due to ensure others benefit from the gesture.
