……Akeredolu, NUJ, Others Celebrate TVC News Correspondent, Ayodeji Moradeyo @50
It was a moment of joy, glitz, and glamour at the weekend as Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), traditional rulers, friends and family gathered in Akure to celebrate an Ace journalist and TVC News Correspondent, Ayodeji Moradeyo’s 50th birthday.
Mr Moradeyo (a.k.a Ayolomo) is a senior reporter and Correspondent in Ondo State with decades of experience in both print and broadcast media.
Ayolomo’s golden jubilee, marked with a difference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Adegbemile, Akure, according to guests, was “a good time to reciprocate his exemplary leadership style and love for the people”.
Governor Akeredolu while speaking at the event, congratulated Ayolomo for distinguishing himself in his chosen career
He said: “Moradeyo has clocked 50, it is a no joke! It is only by the grace of God Almighty and so, we rejoice with him and we pray that the good Lord will be with you and your family, will sustain you and you will celebrate more of this day”.
Akeredolu, represented by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Richard Olatunde further described Moradeyo as a unique and very special professional to Ondo State.
“Representing the governor here today is a mark of honour for him. Moradeyo has done his work and he’s still doing his work with alluring candour and high level of professionalism. You will also agree with me that Moradeyo is dutiful, versatile, imperial, honest and very friendly.
“Over the years, he has proven to be reliable and dependable. In the course of his job, he is a true phase of what Journalism represent and even on this job, the way and manner he interact with people, not just the people, government as well, the jovial nature, humility, understanding nature can’t be taken for granted.
“All this qualities have accumulated together to endear you to the heart of the people in this state and amongst your colleagues”, the governor stressed.
Also, the Chairman of NUJ in the state, Prince Leke Adegbite described Moradeyo as a real family man, a problem solver, who gives people room to grow and a man who always give to the needy without making noise.
