ONDO ASSEMBLY MOURNS AKEREDOLU’S MOTHER PASSAGE
The Ondo State House of Assembly has expressed its condolence over the death of the mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu, who passed on this morning at the age of 90 years.
Speaking through the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. (Prophet) Oleyelogun Bamidele David, the honourable members described Lady Akeredolu as a kind-hearted woman who devoted her life to God and humanity while on earth.
In a Press Release signed by the Spokesperson of the House, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, Oleyelogun thanked God for the meaningful and impactful life she lived as he sympathized with the Governor and the entire family of Akeredolu for the loss and prayed to God to grant her eternal rest.

Ondo APC laments the passage of Akeredolu’s mum
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin has said the death of Lady Evangelist Grace Abosede Akeredolu came at the appointed time.
Reacting to the peaceful passage of the nonagenarian in Ibadan on Thursday, the party chieftain said mama lead an exemplary life that is worthy of emulation.
“It is gratifying to note that mama devoted quality time building the children, in their formative years, who grew to be successful in different human endeavors. They were sources of joy to her while she was around,” the APC chieftain added.
He commiserated with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, and all his siblings, urging them to be consoled by the rewarding life of the departed.
Praying God to grant mama eternal rest, Adetimehin noted that the Anglican Communion has lost a strong pillar in it’s quest for godly disposition.

No matter how old our parents are, no one prays to lose them, and we can only commiserate with our dear Governor. Our mother, Lady Evangelist Mrs. Grace Bosede Akeredolu, was a woman of substance who raised champions and laid down examples for us to follow. We love her so much that we would have asked death to give her back the life.
Therefore, my dear Governor, kindly brace up as she has set a pace for you to follow, especially in fatherhood and leadership. Although she has left us physically, her presence in the spirit remains eternal. I am also sure she is resting at the bosom of the Lord, and when we meet again, it will be at our Lord Jesus Christ’s feet.
May her soul rest in peace.

CAN CONDOLES AKEREDOLU OVER MOTHER’S DEATH
…..Describes her a prayer warrior
The Christian Association of Nigeria, Ondo State chapter, has commiserated with the governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Owo community and the Anglican communion over the death of his mother, Evangelist, Grace Akeredolu.
The association described late Akeredolu as a prayer warrior and a virtuous woman whose entire life was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
The chairman, Very Rev. Fr. Anselm Ologunwa in a statement by the director of information and communications, Daisi Ajayi admonished Arakunrin Akeredolu to take solace in God for ensuring a gracious exit for mama who has no doubt lived a fulfilled life.
Rev Ologunwa noted that though death is inevitable and painful but however observed that Evangelist Grace Akeredolu has devoted her time and resources to the training of her children and indeed left an indelible mark that is worthy of emulation.
The chairman prayed God to grant the governor, his other siblings and entire Akeredolu family the fortitude and grace to bear the great loss.
May the soul of mama and souls of other faithful continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Secretary to Ondo State Government, Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu, has described the death of Mother to Ondo State Governor, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu as shocking and a colossal loss to the Akeredolus’, christendom and the State, in general.
Princess Odu, in a statement made available to newsmen, said Mama Grace Akeredolu was a peace loving and caring mother who dedicated her entire life to the service of God and the benefit of humanity.
The SSG who noted that death is inevitable and dealing with it not easy, observed that Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu devoted her resources and time to the training of her children and left a footprint that is adorable and worthy of emulation.
“O death, where is thy sting?
O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God who gave Mama the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
“My deepest sympathy goes to our own Governor, his siblings and the entire Akeredolus’. I pray the Lord will console you. I wish you peace, courage and comfort at this trying period.” She stated.
The Secretary to the State Government also prayed the Lord grant the Governor, his siblings, the entire family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
AJIPE COMMISERATES WITH GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU OVER MOTHER’S DEATH
A Chieftain of APC in Ondo State and the Convener of Ibi giga Ambassadors Chief Dr Alex Ajipe has commiserated with the Governor of Ondo state Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu over the death of his mother, Evangelist Grace Akeredolu.
Evangelist Grace Akeredolu died on Thursday morning at her resident in Ibadan Oyo State capital at the age of 90
He described the deceased as an enigmatic woman whose entire life was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
Ajipe in a statement issued by his media aide, Solomon Adewoye while consoling governor Akeredolu to take solace in God for ensuring a gracious exit for Mama, thanked God for making the Governor to live behind his mother.
He described Late Evangelist Grace Akeredolu as a woman who dedicated her life for the education of her children and their well being.
While commiserating with the governor and the entire family on the passage of their matriarch, he described the death of the late mother as “indeed a great loss not just to the Akeredolu family but the entire sunshine state.
“We can all attest to the fact that mama lived a fulfilled and exemplary of a true and caring mother which is worthy of emulation.
“She will be greatly missed for her motherly role, timely advice, support and consistent prayer for the Akeredolus and Ondo State at large. Mama has left an indelible mark and indeed lived for mankind”.
“There is no gainsaying that God has blessed Ondo State through the fruits of her womb”
Though her death is painful but there cannot be a better time for her exit than now because one cannot write a biography of a great woman than the success which God had made Mama to accomplish during her life time.
“We give solace in the fact that Mama lived a good life and left a great legacy worthy of emulation. She left a good legacy by giving her children best things of life, as being manifest in the life of Governor Akeredolu. I pray that the Almighty God will grant the family a great fortitude to bear this loss” he said
Ajipe however, called on the governor and his siblings to take solace in the fact that their mother lived a good and fulfilled life, adding that her memory would forever be etched in the hearts of people.
