CONDOLENCE LETTER
The Ondo State Branch of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has declared, “We received with heavy hearts the news of the passing of the mother of Mr. Governor, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu at the age of 90.
At this time, we join millions of mourners all over the world to commiserate with Mr. Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN and the entire Akeredolu family on this huge loss.”
This is contained in a press statement signed by the NMA state Chairman, Dr. Adeyemi-Osowe Omosehin and the Secretary, Dr. Omotehinse A.O, and a copy made available to newsmen in Akure.
In a letter to the Governor, the NMA said, “As an Association, we share this moment of grief with the first family of the State, but we take solace in the good life and legacies that Mama left behind, particularly by bequeathing the fruit of her womb to serve the people of Ondo State and Nigeria at this time.
“Despite her age, Mama and everything she stood for during her lifetime will be missed by all.
“From all of us at Ondo NMA and indeed the entire Doctors’ Family in the State, we pray for the repose of the soul of Mama and that God grant the family and all of us the fortitude to bear this great loss.
“May God grant her eternal rest. Adieu Mama Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu,” the Association said.
