ONDO NUJ INAUGURATES COMMITTEE, FIXES DATE FOR 2022 PRESS WEEK CELEBRATION
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council has inaugurated a seven member Special Committee to organize the Union’s 2022 Annual Press Week.
Inaugurating the committee at the Press Centre, Alagbaka-Akure on Tuesday, the NUJ Chairman in the State, Prince Leke Adegbite tasked members on thorough and befitting Press Week celebration.
Prince Adegbite promised that this year’s press week would be a reference point in many years to come, charging the committee members and all journalists in the state to join hands with the Executives to put together memorable ceremonies.
In his remark, the Chairman of the committee, Mr. Sina Adeyeye, promised to harness available potentials and leverage on the experience of members to ensure the success of the weeklong event.
Members of the seven-man committee are;
1. Sina Adeyeye – Chairman
2. Fisayo Akinduro – Member
3. Precious Oluwole – Member
4. Omolayo Monehin – Member
5. Omosileola Adesoye-Ajayi – Member
6. Ayo Fatokun – Member
7. Bolu Olu-Esho – Secretary,
The State Secretary of NUJ, Comrade Olaoluwa Meshack will represent the State Executive in the committee.
This year’s Press Week celebration has been scheduled to hold between November 27th and December 2nd, 2022.
