…..Says Both deserve the Awards
The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Ondo State Chapter, has congratulated the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), on the conferment of national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) on him by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a congratulatory letter jointly signed by the Association’s Chairman, Dr Adeyemi-Osowe Omosehin and the Secretary, Dr. A. O. Omotehinse, the NMA said the honour is well-deserved.
The Association said “On behalf of the entire body of doctors in Ondo State, Ondo NMA wishes to felicitate with Mr. Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, on the conferment of national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
“This award, no doubt is well-deserved, and it is a testament to your contributions to the various facets of national development. Mr. Governor Sir, it is on record that your dogged commitment to one indivisible Nigeria that is fair to all is not in doubt.
“This, you have demonstrated through your words and actions, especially your giant strides in Ondo State and Nigeria towards the upliftment of the lives and livelihoods of the people within a safe and secure Nigeria.
“We also wish to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for this noteworthy honour to our dear Governor.
“As an association, we share this moment of celebration with you and are proud of your landmark achievements that birthed this award. Congratulations our talk and do Governor,” the Association said.
National Honour for our Ex-President, Prof Faduyile not Surprising —NMA rejoices
The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Ondo State Chapter, has hailed the national honour conferred on its former National President, Prof. Francis Adedayo Faduyile, who is also the Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Health.
The Association congratulated Faduyile on the award of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) to be conferred on him by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
In a congratulatory letter endorsed by the NMA Chairman, Dr Adeyemi-Osowe Omosehin and the Secretary, Dr. A. O. Omotehinse, the Association said the award did not come to medical doctors as a surprise.
NMA notes that, “Given your eminent contributions within and outside the medical profession in various capacities but notably as a medical doctor of repute and former National President of the Nigerian Medical Association, this honour did not come to us as a surprise.
“Undoubtedly, there is more to come from you. As an untiring achiever that you are, we know that this award will spur you on to greater laurels to the betterment of the people and the medical profession that you are so passionate about.
“From all of us at Ondo NMA, we are very delighted to associate with you and your achievements at this time and as members of your immediate professional family, we celebrate you today as always,” the Association concluded.
