WELL-DESERVED NATIONAL HONOURS: ADEWOLE ‘MAJOR DEE’ CONGRATULATES AKEREDOLU, DEJI OF AKURE, ROTIMI IBIDAPO, OTHERS
A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure South LGA, Ondo State, Hon Ayodeji Steve Adewole, popularly known as “MAJOR DEE”, has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, on his conferment of National Award of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) and Prince Rotimi Ibidapo who is receiving ‘OON’.
Similarly, Hon Adewole wishes to Congratulate the Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II as he also bags the National Award of Commander of the order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFR).
In a Press Statement, Hon Adewole hails President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, for counting the two distinguished personalities worthy of the National Honours.
Major Dee notes that considering the accomplishments of Governor Akeredolu, Oba Aladetoyinbo and Prince Ibidapo in impacting on people’s lives over the years, the awards are well-deserved.
“It is my sincere belief that these National Honours of CON and OON will spur both respected personalities to do more for our Ondo State and humanity generally,” Hon Adewole.
In his words, “I join well-meaning Nigerians to facilitate our dear-loved Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, on his award of CON, conferred on him by Mr President, as testimony to his giant strides in many sectors in the state, since assumption of office, especially in the area of security of lives and property of the citizenry especially in the Southwest region and who has also led well as the Chairman, Southern Governors Forum.”
“No doubt Kabiyesi, this award to you is an heart-warming honour to all Akure all over the World. I celebrate the Deji of Akure Kingdom who joins other prominent awardees who had been found worthy of such National Honours by the Federal Government,” Hon Adewole.
Once again congratulate Kabiyesi, Mr Governor and Prince Ibidapo on their milestone achievements at this time.
Hon Adewole also congratulated other Ondo State indigenes on the list of Award recipients; Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede, Olowa of Igbara-Oke (OFR); the Governor’s Special Adviser on Health matters, Prof Adedayo Faduyile (OON) and Chief Akin Ariwajoye (OON)
