***Commends Ekiti Governor-Elect as Strategic Thinker with Experience in Progressive Governance.
Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, represented by his Deputy, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has commended the outgoing Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi for setting impactful standard in governance saying that history would be kind to him.
“And as a former Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum, you have been a stabilizing force and we shall continue to celebrate you”, he said.
Aiyedatiwa made these commendations in his remarks at the reception ceremony held in honour of the outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi organized by his kinsmen, held at the New Place Ground, Isan-Ekiti, Ekiti State on Saturday.
While applauding Governor Fayemi for his massive infrastructural projects, Ondo State Deputy Governor declared that, “Dr Fayemi is running and finishing well as Governor of Ekiti State” .
“And to be hosted and received by your people after a meritorious and fulfilled service is a good thing” .
“Infact, that he came back four years ago after his first term 2010 – 2014, is indeed historic….it simply means that he is loved by the people of this State” , he said.
“On performance as Governor, the impactful projects that dot the State, and several empowerment projects are there for all to see” .
“We must commend you, Your Excellency for the iconic Airport project that you commissioned today” , he said.
Aiyedatiwa also commended Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for allowing her husband to go into public service.
Applauding for coming onboard, the Governor-Elect, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) who he noted as a strategic thinker with experience in progressive governance, Aiyedatiwa said Oyebanji would build on Governor Fayemi’s legacy.
He equally thanked the people of Ekiti State particularly Isan-Ekiti community for their show of commitments and the efforts they made to identify with history-making Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
