Sequel to the anxiety that engulfed Akungba Akoko in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo state over the execution of supreme court judgement on Alale stool in favour of Prince Oseni Isiaka Adu from Agure/Mokun branch of Ole Ruling house, some indigenes of the town have called for the implementation by the state government.
A cross section of the indigenes of the town both home and Diaspora who spoke with newsmen on the issue raised alarm over what they termed as unnecessary delay in the execution of the Apex court judgement which ended Alale OBASHIP tussle in favour of Prince Oseni Isiaka Adu from Agure/Mokun branch of Ole Ruling house.
Prof. Olakunle Dauda in US, Bar. Ajayi Temitope, Dr. Bello Kareem in UK, Dr Ojo Adekola, Mr Akin Deolu among others noted that “what is next is the execution of the judgment so as to lay the matter to rest for peace to reign among the residents and indigenes of the town since the Oba-Elect Prince Oseni Isiaka Adu from Agure Mokun branch of Ole Ruling house as affirmed by the supreme court judgement enjoys the overwhelming and Unflinching Support of all and Sundry in Akungba Akoko.
They therefore appealed to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN in the interest of fairness and justice and peaceful coexistence in the community and Ondo state in general to step in and execute the judgment.
