The Atikulated Global Movement kicked off the campaign for Atiku/Okowa presidency on Friday 25th Nov 2022.
It was a double celebrations as they also used the occasion for the birthday celebration of H.E Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP.
Despite the fact that it was a campaign effort of the AGM, key functionaries of the PDP in Akoko, keyed into the campaign exercise. Giving a keynote address, Hon. Afolami Olabomi, who was a facilitator of AGM sponsored the events to honour H.E Atiku Abubakar.
Hon. Afolami emphasized the need for aspirants and candidates to put aside any animosity that had arisen in the course of the primary elections and work for the success of all the PDP candidates in the coming election.
The PDP chairman in Akoko NE constituency, Hon. Kareem was elated that a wide array of the party functionaries in the four Akoko LGAs were present in the campaign kickoff and the birthday celebration. He particularly gave kudos to Hon. Olabomi for being a strong pillar of support for PDP in Akoko North Federal Constituency.
The PDP womens leader Mrs Faslat Umarudeen, who graced the occasion with the women leaders in the 13 wards of Akoko North East, enjoined the women folks to be a strong factor in the campaign for the Atiku/Okowa Presidential campaign.
She was particularly happy about the prime roles that Hajia Mariam Abubakar, AGM’s National Leader, Hon. Bolanle Aliu Sarumi AGM’s National Coordinator and Hon. Comr Abosede Agbaje Salami, Ondo state Coordinator of AGM play in the campaign exercise of Atiku/Okowa.
