…..Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON Condoles With The Family of Late Reverend Manuwa Fabuluje

Today, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON, accompanied by members of his cabinet from the North Senatorial district, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late All Progressives’ Congress (APC) Leader in Owo Local Government; Rev. Manuwa Fabuluje JP.

The Governor said the death of Reverend Fabuluje was a loss to him, to progressives and our party – APC. “I was not around when Baba passed. Immediately, I asked my Chief of Staff to visit the family. Our party has lost a great man. Baba was revered as a true progressive and a committed one, in the mould of Pa Ajasin, Eyinla and Afolabi. When my Uncle Chief J. B Afolabi died, Baba took over as leader of the Owo APC. Late Chief Afolabi as leader and Rev. Fabuluje as his vice were instrumental to my becoming Governor.

He added that Baba played his part well. Many times, Baba would call me, and Baba would drive himself to see me. Baba was generous and kind. Often, he brought drinks when visiting, to my surprise. He was unflinching in his support.

He noted that, “Baba lived to old age. What is left is for us to celebrate his life. We would support the family for the burial.”

Responding on behalf of the family, a son of the deceased, thanked the governor for his visit, and expressed delight receiving the delegation.

On his way back, the governor stopped by Ogbomo to see the ongoing road construction. He expressed satisfaction on the quality of the bridge under construction.
