2023: AKURE SOUTH APC INAUGURATES CAMPAIGN COUNCIL, WARD COMMITTEES
The Akure South Local Government chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the LG Campaign Council and Ward Campaign Committees for the 2023 general elections.
A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Afe Olowokere will serve as the Director General of the Campaign Council in the local government while former Commissioner for Natural Resources, Mr. Idowu Otetubi, will be the Secretary of the Council.
Other members of the Council include Mr. Sunday Kekereowo Adejuyigbe as Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Mrs. Funke Daramola as Director of Women Affairs, Barr. Kayode Taiwo as Director of Legal Services, Mrs Toyin Akinmoy as Iyaloja, Prince Dapo Adepoju as Director of Youth and Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan as Director of Media and Publicity.
Members of the Council held their inaugural meeting on Thursday, shortly after the inauguration of the Campaign Committees for the Eleven Wards in the local government.
The inauguration which held at the Mega School, Uro, Akure, was attended by leaders of the party and members of the local government campaign council.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the APC in Akure South, Dr. Akinmolayan Fesobi and the Director General of the APC Akure South Campaign Council, Hon. Afe Olowokere, urged the Committees to go into the grassroots to mobilise support for all APC candidates ahead of the general elections.
