2023: Be Optimistic Of Better Nigeria & Pray For Peaceful Conduct of Elections – Engr. Bally Urges Nigerians

  • Let us have a great belief of better days ahead

The CEO of Arvo Finance and APC chieftain in Ondo state, Engr. Ayotunde Bally has felicitated the people of the Sunshine state, particularly the good people of Ondo East and West local government areas for witnessing the new year of 2023.

Engr. Ayotunde Bally in his new year message to the people of Ondo East and West LGAs, thanked the Almighty God for making it possible for them to see another year on earth, and urged them to return the Glory to God for such momentous privilege to be among those who crossed over to the new year, despite the daunting challenges of the previous year, 2022, and enjoined them to have a great belief of better days ahead in the new year.

“Ostensibly, it is incontrovertible that the year 2022 was full of unsavoury occurrences of daunting challenges for Nigerians in the areas of insecurity, economy, extra-judicial homicides by errant security personnel and many more, which gave birth to a mass exodus of Nigerians outside the shores of the country in the name of ” Japa”; as a result of these dishearten transpires to Nigerians, especially our teeming youths.

“We must not allow all these to subjugate us in 2023, Nigerians must show their resilience to surmount all that they faced in 2022, and be optimistic of a better 2023 in all areas”

On the 2023 general elections, Engr. Ayotunde Bally urged Nigerians to pray fervently for the peaceful conduct of the elections, before, during and after the process.

“It is an indisputable fact that this year’s general elections will steer in a new political dispensation in the history of our democratic system of government, and it is so crucial in our electioneering cycle, as it will mark precisely 30 years after the June 12, 1993, presidential election, which was acclaimed the most credible, fairest and transparent election in the history of elections conducted in Nigeria, since 1960.

” We can not insulate the election period from heating the polity by different political gladiators, especially their political proponents which if care is not taken can lead to violence, but we must implore the state and non-state actors for peaceable conduct; and not see the process as a do or die affair. The election will come and go, so we must put the interest of the nation above our interests as our unity is non-negotiable, knowing fully well that our unity in diversity is our strength. Nigeria must remain as one entity, having firmly and solemnly resolve, to live in unity and harmony as one indivisible and indissoluble sovereign nation “

Engr. Bally later enjoined the Nigerian youths, with 71% voting population to show the same enthusiasm demonstrated during the voter registration exercise and PVCs collection, to troop out en mass in the coming elections to exercise their franchise in proportion to their numerical potency.

On behalf of my family and the Ayotunde&Chinelo Bally Foundation, I wish you all a happy prosperous new year of abundant blessings.
